About the event

Accountable care—centered on personalized, coordinated, and whole-person care—is no longer the vision for the future of the American Health system: it is here, now. Today, more than half of Traditional Medicare beneficiaries are in accountable relationships, and more than half of all Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Advantage plans. Of those plans, nearly 40% of members are in advanced accountable relationships, and that number is quickly rising. This rapid shift, enabled by CMMI’s bold new visions—prioritizing prevention, empowerment, competition, and technology-enabled care— signals that the next wave of transformation is here.

 

To meet this moment, the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy and West Health are excited to expand their long-standing partnership with the launch of the West Health Accelerator at Duke-Margolis.
