Priorities
Tackling today’s most persistent health system challenges
The health care landscape is constantly evolving, but several issues persist. Patients feel unheard and disconnected in a complex system, and do not feel like the high and rising cost of care delivers better outcomes and a better experience. These issues are compounded for older adults and those with health vulnerabilities — the people who need the system to work for them the most.
Our goal is to redesign our health care system with these issues in mind. We use a set of criteria to evaluate and select the focus areas of the Accelerator. This ensures that as our work evolves, it is nimble and adaptive to the current health policy and care delivery environment and grounded in a lasting commitment to person-focused care.
